Normangrove cottage is the perfect place to explore the west of Ireland. The perfect getaway yet close enough to everything. A stunning stone cottage, finished to the highest quality with walnut wood flooring throughout. The cottage is centrally heated and has a real fire stove, making it incredibly cosy and comfortable.

The cottage has a deck to enjoy the views across The Burren over morning coffee or to watch the fabulous sunsets in the evening. The bathroom has a power shower and separate whirlpool bath. There is king sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 full sized single beds in the twin room. All bed linen is of the highest standard and towels are provided.

The lounge is perfect for cosy nights in, with Apple TV (Netflix), a high quality stereo that can be connected to iphone/ipad. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for a home away from home. There is a new and extremely comfortable fold down double sofa bed in the lounge, if required.

Normangrove cottage is less than 10minutes drive from Kinvara village and 35 minutes from lively Galway city. Both places boast fantastic restaurants, seafood, bars and live music of all varieties. The cottage is set in an outdoor enthusiasts haven with walking, cycling, golf, watersports, horse riding on the door step and nearby beaches. The cottage is set across the patio from the main house and is completely self contained. Guests have their own private deck and access to shared large garden and patio. The garden is perfect for children and there is a playhouse, swing and side, which they can play on and a trampoline. Guests also have wifi within the house.

Guests have access to the full cottage and private deck and gardens. When we are staying in the main house access to large garden and patio is shared but we are very respectful of your privacy. Parking is directly outside the cottage.

There will be a welcome bottle of wine. Tea and coffee and essentials are also provided. While we respect your privacy, we are available to answer any questions, give advice on what to do in the area and where to eat etc. Prior to your arrival, we will provide information on the area and if there is anything you are specifically interested in, we are happy to help and provide recommendations.

The cottage is 3 miles from Kinvara, 30 minutes from Shannon airport, 35 minutes from Galway city and 2.5 hours from Dublin. A car is needed for getting around and we will provide numbers for local taxis.

There is no charge for children under 3 years.

Travel cot and high chair provided, as well as a step for toddlers for the bathroom sink, plastic bowls, cups etc for young kids as well as some toys, books and DVDs.

The back garden is large and shared with ourselves and there is small slide for younger kids, trampoline , swing, slides and playhouse .
